How To Book
To book your trip just call Buzzer Buses on 01525 853 566.
Our booking line is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm. Please leave a message and one of our friendly office staff will get back to you as soon as they can.
When booking trips:
- Please be aware that being flexible with regard to timings will helps us book your journey
- Book as far in advance as possible
- Priority is given for medical appointments
Members are asked to be ready five minutes in advance of their pick-up time and to include extra travel time when booking to allow for traffic hold-ups.
Please Note:
We are unable to provide transport for hospital appointments.
Fees
Charges vary according to the distance travelled but, rest assured, we always keep our fares as low as possible.
Areas covered
Buzzer Buses cover Leighton Buzzard and nearby Bedfordshire villages.
Group Transport
As well as providing a service for individual members we also provide transport for local groups and charities in Leighton/Linslade.

Fleet & Assistance
All rides are conducted in our wheelchair-accessible minibuses, equipped with:
- Hydraulic tail lifts, fold-down steps, handrails, and safe seating
- Drivers who are MiDAS-trained and DBS-checked, assisting with boarding, baggage, and safe transitions at your destination.
- All vehicles comply with Section 19 permits and undergo regular VOSA inspections.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes! Essential companions, guide dogs, and children under 16 ride for free. Other adult companions pay the same fare as members.
What if I need to change my trip time?
Call us as soon as your plans change. Our team will check availability and accommodate where possible.
How early should I expect the bus?
Our driver will arrive about 5 minutes before the booked time. If delayed, we’ll do our best to let you know.
